EVENT: 2nd Melbourne Head-fi meet, 2010.
ABOUT: Portable & desktop head fi
DATE: June 26, 2010 (Sat)
TIME: 10:45am - 5:45pm. (Including time to setup and packup)
 
VENUE:  St Anthony's Parish House [Entrance thru playground back gate]
Located at 74 Grange Road, Carnegie.
It is next to the school playground behind the church.(And NOT the one next to the photography shop)
Directions-------
Car parking available in the school grounds next to the Parish House.Call us when arrive to find the tricky back way into the 'Back Room' via the car park.
 
If thru public transport, it's closer from Glenhuntly Train station, when u get off train, walk towards commbank and go straight till u hit Grange Road, then turn left, u'll see a church bldg from the subway shop. Walk towards the church, go pass it, and gp pass the playgound behind it, and there we are.
or TRAM 67 towards Carnegie and get off at stop #62. And turn left, u'll see a church bldg from the subway shop. Walk towards the church, go pass it, and gp pass the playgound behind it, and there we are.
 

 
 
 
FEE:  =/< $20 (include venue, light lunch, drinks, misc. Money left will be donated!) [Since there's ppl express a concern about it. I will try to see if I'm able to lower it without too much comprimise)

I didn't recon you guys will be interested in another Melb meet so soon.
But surely, it's a good thing (Well, I think it is)
 
So There's suggestion for June, Sep, or Nov.....
There's suggestion of portable and/or desktop.....

Well November is when I am going to the Metallica concert, so I don't really want two major events in the same month, as the rest of my year will be boring

 October is ages away, but I will probably have some more and better gear by then. It is my birthday on the 21st of May, so I hope I receive some money for some more headphones, like Shure SRH-840 which I could take to the meet

 So out of those 3 choices, I vote for June.
edit: Is the poll correct? June, October and November? Or was October supposed to be September? BTW I think desktop and portable rigs should be welcomed.
I do plan on bringing my DT880 stock, MAD Ear+ HD, Grado HF-2, Zero DAC, Walkman X1060, Westone UM3X and my PS3. AD700, DAC for speakers, Qinpu A3, UE 100 will all stay at home, unless someone would like to try any.

No clue, i'm fairly snowed under with studies untill mid June so I unofrtunatly wont be much help in organizing the meet (if it is indeed in June).  It's be best to have the meet late June, early July so as to come after exams for those at school and university.  Preferably somewhere closish to most would also be grand.  Where abouts is everyone located?

Sure. My exam should be done around mid June. Thou I have applications and stuff to work on for next year's program LOL
