- app crashes many times with the latest FW
- problems with the track buttons (skip fwd / bkw) etc. pp.

The problems are not fixes until now!
Please check the app build in direction to the hard buttons (skip).

Sorry. The crashes are not fixed!
Dear friend,

You could send the files from internal storage/Android/data/com.fiio.music/files/crash to the engineer for checking the issue.

Best regards

I think the crash is cause by some music files so we need your help to check out the reason. you can contact our engineer through llc@fiio.net it may be more efficient than our customer support email .

Sorry. There is no crash report behind your listed folder resp. I can see a crash directory @M7 internal, but the dir. is empty...

If you mean my posting. Sorry. NO!
I own several devices
4 Squeezeboxes
1 Sony Walkman
1 Notebook and other different devices such tablets, other (old) android player (archos etc. pp).
ALL my devices are playing the files without any problems! ALL files are playable @M7, cause the FiiO-app crashes from time to time (mostly if I use the skip buttons) and after new start of the app the device is playing with file that "Involved" in the crash without any problems.
I think it's not a hardware problem, cause all the buttons are working fine.... (correct reaction of a button or the wheel).
The amazon review of another user described the same issue of my device - maybe another hardware rev. distributed worldwide (my devices buyed in the german FiiO online store)?
That's the reason I cannot fwd "some music files"...

I have been having some issues while scanning songs, problem is not serious, two wrong trys but at third the M7 works well and scannig my library.
Checking the folder "com.fiio.music\files\crash" I have 5 files. I uploaded them here http://www.mediafire.com/file/3iwnwmmspasux4w/crash.rar
Now I am using Firmware Version 1.0.3

which is best format for Micro SD whit the M7 ?
I did not format my Micro SDXC card as the M7 does not have a provision for doing so itself...I just stuck it in, created a music folder and started transferring artists and albums - it has worked perfectly with my 256GB card. Be careful what brand/source you use for your card...there are a lot of fakes out there (I received two fakes before getting a "real" card).

I know the M7 work fine, I did the same just put the Micro SD card from my previous device and start listen to. But for an optimal working wich format is the best: FAT32, NTFS y ExFAT ?
