Save your money if you can find the V6's. I own both. They're the same except for (A) the color and print of the removable decals on the earcups, (B) the model number on the earcups, (C) the color of the identical plug handle, (D) the plugs on the 7506's are gold-plated.

The guy is clueless. Sure, he may have gotten different readings -- but he would have also gotten different readings had he tested two V6's or two 7506's. It's called "variability in manufacturing" and Sony has a reputation for having lots of it.
