little bump. I've got 2-3 hotels on a short list for potential locations. I have an appointment to see the last one tomorrow afternoon.
Here's a breakdown:
1) very close to the beltway (exit 25) and a good size, but $950 and payment is due in advance. Upside: close to beltway, close to food (McDs in walking distance, other wise a drive to other places).
2) Farther away from beltway but easy to get to: ~$400-600 depending on room, pay after event, far away (1-2 miles by car and you would have to drive) from typical food type places, but it's at a conference center so there are two restaurant and a Starbucks on location. Cheapest option with good access for unloading cars
3) Farther away from beltway, ~$650, pay after event, Interesting room (not your standard rectangular thing, but I haven't seen it yet), not close to food.
All three locations are available on either the 21st or the 14th.
I'm figuring on 50-75 people but options 2 and 3 are more flexible if we go over the 75 mark. Option 1 is less flexible and the price goes up from there.
