Work sent me to Idaho last month, and it pretty much sucked. But it looks like they're willing to make up for it because they may be sending me to Irvine, CA for some training the first week of March. This trip may not pan out, given the current financial situation and the company's general unwillingness to spend money during the economic crunch, but for the first time I'm actually looking forward to traveling out of state for training.

Would it happen to be at the Hilton in Costa Mesa? Think that one gets quite a few of the training seminars.

No. It's for ETAP, which is a software package that's used for the analysis of electrical power systems. The company apparently has their own training center in Irvine.
