Massdrop x Noble X Universal IEMs Review / Preview
Nov 26, 2016 at 2:16 AM Post #197 of 766
Umm, so nothing about those last series of conversations says "made in America" to me.  I'm not that much of a stickler for such things, but that was way off from anything sounding like "made in America".  Why does it say that on the Massdrop promo?  I don't think it's a big deal, but still.

If you care to notice, those claims of made in America have been removed from the massdrop website. (at the request of Noble) Furthermore those statements were made by massdrop and were

A- not approved by Noble
B- contradictictive to statements openly made by me, President of Noble,
C- contradictictive to statements on the Noble website

That being said, if you have ever bothered to read the ftc guidelines of what the definition of "made in America" is you would probably come to the conclusion that Noble fits that definition.

Socket usa
Drivers USA company
Abs housing usa
Aluminum cnc housing usa
Final assembly usa

Cable Taiwan
Tubing Taiwan
Solder wire Taiwan
Partial assembly outsourced off shore

FYI, no ciem/iem is 100% made in America, as some parts\materials are simply not made in America

* just checked the promo via my phone and those statements are still there, and they were removed earlier this morning. I'll be attempting to resolve this asap

Fullcircle,
Got it and it's all good. I'm in for the drop. Your comments here are very succinct and I appreciate that. So thank you for being so open and present.

Well I do appreciate your willingness to give me the benefit of the doubt, but I still want accurate statements regarding Noble made as much as possible. This is not the first time this made in America statement has been said by others outside of noble and probably won't be the last

As an owner of K10UA, it don't make the slightest difference to me whether these are "Made in America" or made elsewhere...what's important is that it's "Made by Noble"

The fit, finish and performance of your earphones are first rate...and that's what matters to me!

Understood and appreciated, but I want things to be clear as I don't want people to question my integrity

What perfect timing! The right driver of my Westone 4Rs are dying and I've always wanted to try a noble product. Really excited about these :D. Anyone able to compare with the westone? Excited to replace my Westones with this nonetheless. Hoping the Noble X won't be too dark though

I Just compared the Noble X to the T20i. I used the reference and bass tuning ports. Preferred the reference port. The T20i has a more flat sound profile where the Noble X is a more bass/mid focused, to my ear. I think the T20i are more versatile due to having the changeable tuning ports. The T20i also are smaller earpieces but the cable is more friendly on the Noble X for glasses. The T20i comes with a more thorough accessory package. Both sound very good to me. In the end its down to sound signature preference. Either one would be nice to have. Overall I would lean toward the T20i because the sound is more to my liking and the included extras don't hurt either. IMO YMMV

considering both of these sets (amongst others) though leaning towards the RHA for the warranty and ability to return if not liked.

anything else to keep in mind? I listen to a fair amount of electronic, rock, r&b, hip-hop.

Can anyone compare these to RockIt Sounds R-50? I'm particularly interested in comparing the treble extension and energy of these two. I really hate when treble is missing.

I am also ordered but 5 months waiting time...Ughh. :/

Actually, the wait is only 3 months and 3 weeks.  Approximately.
Good things come to those who wait.

I appreciate that you are posting in here and answering questions as it definitely makes my confidence in this purchase much higher, though I was never questioning the integrity. I think some of the concern stemmed from the thought that maybe this would be "lesser" of a product than some of your other offerings due to how low the price is comparatively. But from your posts here I have gotten the impression that it should be similar in quality to the other two driver offerings (sage and savant) albeit with a different tuning, and the cost savings come in due to economies of scale and perhaps the accessories package.

Either way, I just wanted to say that even though I am not a super user in here or the most active or most experienced, I do appreciate you posting here, so thank you. And that even with my concerns and obviously not having heard these yet, it has given me confidence that I will be getting a quality product at what seems like a really great price.

Sorry about this muck of a question but....I was going to pull the trigger on the IBasso IT03 phones, but now these show up. I know the driver setup is different, but for those that have Nobles...do you love 'em or what?
I'm thinking about getting these instead from the reviews I've read about Nobles in general.

In the same position as you right now! Let me know which you decide to get in the end :p

I signed up for the drop, but after reading that review a bit earlier in the thread, my head goes back to the IT03. I already have a "dark" ish signature iem in the Sony Z5. I'm sure the Noble will be great, but (at least by that review) it may not be what I am looking for right now.
