As I predicted - no need to run, and I still predict several hundred units won't sell at all by end of the drop.
Europe being excluded is only 1 part of it...
Elears owners won't join, and neither Clear owners.
Long wait and cannot audition an $800 headphone before buying.

All above reasons already mentioned by me and others.

Bottom line: there will be another drop in a month or so with the remaining stock. No need to rush.

Although that's the case, it is not like HD6XX first drop. There's still time to consider buying the Elex especially with all the points factored in like @Zachik said. I remember waking up early and ready to add the HD6XX to cart the moment the drop starts.

I think the drop is for people who have been desiring a Focal but unable to afford the Elear. For those folks, I don't see how they can go wrong.
