Hi all,

I bought a Magni 2 amp & received it in the mail today. I plugged the RCA cable into the line-out on my PC and into the magni, and then plugged my headphones in.
But the light next to the volume knob won't light up. Am i doing something wrong or did i get a bad amp? Help please?

Make sure the unit is plugged into a 120v wall outlet and that the power switch is in the up position

I think the outlet is 120v but it's plugged into an extension cord
And it's the stock power cord/wall wart? I'd look up the operating voltage and current of the Magni 2 and compare that with what the plug says. Perhaps it's not the original one and is giving too much or too little power

yeah it's the stock cord. Judging by the pictures
Last thing to do is check the operating voltage and current like I mentioned, and compare with the specs on Schiit's site

Without a multimeter it would be hard to tell if the power supply wall wart was bad or the amp died.
