Does the m1clic bypass the internal DAC of an iPod via the CLICs rear iPod connection?

Its a 7th gen classic....but that should not matter....I was wondering if the clic bypasses the Ipods internal DAC

It matters, your ipod has to be above 6th gen to bypass the dac. In your case, it should work.
