Just placed an order for the NAD C541i... And got some tubes sent to me (Sylvania and Raytheon 5751s) earlier this week. Man that hole in my wallet is getting bigger and bigger. Now I am thinking interconnects and upgrade to Cardas for my HD-580...
Doh, I already ordered... I got the Nad C541i. The Ah is a little out of my range right now. Maybe it will be a good upgrade down the road. I will read up on it

Not true! Buy high end stuff at stores and do trade-ins. Then its only expensive the first time, plus your ass is covered if anything breaks down. There are many speaker companies out there which do nearly full-price trade-ins. Right now i could upgrade my turntable to an MMF-5 and have dealer coverage for around 300$.
