I love the LZ A4 for it's huge airy soundstage and for the details it can bring out in music, expertly separating instruments and vocals to give a very natural presentation. It's also fun to just chill out with.
I'm looking for something a BIT different though... I'm after a bit more smoothness/richness in the mids without losing out in detail, and with a bit more sub bass impact and depth. I quite like the treble on the LZA4 as it sits in nice with what i can put up with. I dislike bright earphones. The LZA4 sound-stage is just right IMO, so looking for something quite similar.
I've been looking at the FLC 8 for a while now, so if anyone has both could you tell me if it might suit what i'm after? Or are there any other IEMs that might fit in with what i'm after? I've been looking at MusicMaker and Rose range also.
