My question was not about regretting a possible purchase or not...I am just seriously interested in :

"How many and exactly what kind of different sound tweaks/EQ options can be found in the menu? And do they work well in your subjective opinion?"

You go into UAC menu and you press the knob and that's it. You will see the firmware version you have installed.

I noticed that to make the IER-Z1R sound it needs more volume clicks than the W1... the 400mw keeps them all for the last 30 clicks maybe...

the latest 0.1.2... but keep in mind that it has too few hours of music... 5/6 hours...
we will have to see in a few days when it will have loosened its muscles...

Sorry but the STL setting of the W1 (normal/pop) would be the one that in the W4 is now tone 1/tone 2
