Due to the high transparency of the W4, it can also accurately reflect the differences in USB cables and digital sources. I compared various devices, such as the MacBook Pro, Windows PC, Android Phone, and iPad Pro, and several cheap USB cables. The USB cables that I found to have the best SQ are the Lindy Black series, ddHiFi 07s and 09s, and QLS L02.

Have you tried ddhifi mfi07s with iPhone and W4? None of lightning usb-c otg cables, aside from W4 stock, seems to work with W4 and iPhone. So, was wondering if mfi07s makes it work? I think someone mentioned some start up current in-rush condition or something like that which requires a special OTG cable?

No problem, 07s will works fine with iPhone and w4. Compared to the stock cable, the 07s have better treble extension, improved detail, and better separation between instrument and vocal
BTW, if you're looking for punchier bass, you might want to consider the 09s.

There are differences in USB cables, and you can use an oscilloscope to measure their eye diagrams, which will reveal the differences between various USB cables.

My opinion is that using a longer USB cable generally makes the sound more laid-back. I compared the MFI 09s and MFI 07s, as well as the tc 09s and tc07s.

Just asked some friends , and we find that the ddHiFi 07s cable is compatible with the iPhone 14 and w4 without any issues, but it doesn't work with some older model such as iPhone 7.
