click on receive beta version and click online update.

Is done 👍

As first....i found the first bug🙈.....its not possible to pair it with a DAP Astell/Kern via USBC 😎
(On the Ferrum Wandla GSE oder RME DAC/AMP no Problems with AK 😉)

NOMAX

PS.Let's see if it works with the Lotoo? I need few minutes......😎

IMG_3508.jpeg

So with the Lotoo no Problem👍.....but should also work with the Astell/Kerns Dap....Because not everyone owns a Mjolnir for 7000 euros 😂
(That's how it is when I test... 😉)

Then let's see how and whether the optical connection at least works with Astell/Kern Dap

Ok this works...the optical between Ak and Luxsin 👍
(But not the USBC❗️)

IMG_3510.jpeg

I found another bug🙈.... with the XLR headphone output there is a kind of imbalance left right which is strong fluctuating😎
Pentaconn 4.4 mm and 6.3 works perfekt.....👍
Perhaps this has something to do with the impedance detection system which does not exist with the XLR and is not present there?

That's it for now...there'll be more in the next few days.....and since I'm not a reviewer ....naturally completely uncensored😉
(Because this is the only way that the community/end consumer will ultimately benefit)

Don't worry....I tried that too...it works not 😎
(I think it has something to do with the latency...I think your engineers know what I mean 👍)

PS.(should be able to be solved via the firmware as with other manufacturers which also solved it on that way)

Verry positive.....the whole menu navigation is very simple and easy to understand on the large display..well done Luxsin 👍
(Anyone can manage that😉)
And please remove these different style options....classical/dance etc etc in a firmware update
(terrible...awful😝😝 nobody really needs that👎👎)

Do you know the power specs of the single ended out? I've asked multiple times on here but they seem reluctant to give out the power specs, for them to not be include them in the OP on an enthused forum is a little perplexing, as it stands it's just a pretty face.

Will Roon Ready be part of a future firmware update? If so, this X9 sounds perfect for me, and will then replace my almost new JDS Labs Element IV. 😅

Ok so the X9 is rather awesome on the headphones front. The DAC is a bit more refined and laid back than the K11 R2R's DAC, both paired to my Aiyima A80 power amp stage driving Triangle Comete 40th.

On the headphones out and using the Harman HP-EQ (2nd from the bottom for the Arya Stealth), my headphones now have fuller body and better control of the high end peaks planars can have in some songs. Bass extension is substantially improved too as is the midrange. Soundstage remains wide yet imaging places everything just as nicely as I enjoyed on the K11 R2R. The X9 is just more refined in all areas of the sound.

A couple of bugs I noticed are:

1: The HP-EQ setting also seems to apply the EQ to the XLR output to my power amp as the HP-EQ setting remains active after I disconnect headphones. Ideally the HP-EQ setting should only apply to the headphones outputs and not the XLR?

2: When the display brightness is set to medium, the screen emits a low frequency whining noise like capacitor or coil whine. I have seen this on other devices before too and it has something to do with the power regulation when a display or LED is dimmed to a certain level. When the display is set to high or low the whine does not exist, so it only affects medium brightness. My hearing is extremely sensitive to this though so maybe others won't hear it. I can often hear power bricks that whine too.

Roon ready is not available for X9, there is no streaming function integrated

We just released a new firmware to fix this potential issue. Please upgrade and try
