Finally got my system together.

Been trying the P-750 with these:

The Stellias aren’t mine though.
Very sexy setup. :astonished: But you're not done yet... you still need this..

At this price point, an audition is a must. Don't forget to include ECP DSHA-4 and L3 to the list. Another amplifier worth considering is the Audio-Technica HA5050H. These three amps are all better sounding than my SuSy Dynalo and Dynahi and should be better than the GSX-mini as well. Mr. Guttenberg lost me when he said that the Z1R is the most neutral of the bunch and is very suitable as a monitoring tool.

I stopped reading after that BS.
I did like Ken Kessler’s review though and here’s another good one from Poland.

He reviews more Luxman gear but sadly this is the only one in English.

How do you like the P750u? Sounds better than the 509x HP out?

Quite a lot better after only quickly comparing it.
But I don’t think the 509X output is as bad as the one from my Marantz PM-11 though.
I’ll have to try it a bit more. I wonder what output it is, tapped from the speakers output with resistors or a dedicated board?

Gosh, I’m lusting after a SQ-N150 as well now though, I used to own a SQ-N100.
Just for versatility. :)

Interested in this myself. Looks like it has a gold plate instead of the Rhodium(?) on the standard edition. Waiting for my dealer to get back to me about it but I'm guessing it's the Japanese market only for now.

Waiting for an answer from the dealer as well.
Probably Japanese market only indeed.

Meanwhile, found some more info, here’s what I understood from it:
- outside gold plate logo and triple top plate, adds about 1kg weight.
- inside: new power socket and some new cabling for the power, latest version of their Leuca volume control.
Not much difference it seemed

Interesting. Not sure I need the extra 1kg though!

Confirmed, Japan only, 100V only for the P-750u LE.
So I'm sticking to my P-750u until they come out with a P-800X or something.

I did order me an SQ-150 to add to the stack though. :)

Yeah, just been told the same. Nothing much wrong with the standard version though!
Interestingly the box that my P-750u came in has Limited Edition printed on the side. Do they make them in limited runs I wonder?

Yes, rhodium nicer. Matches my Furutech XLR's. :relaxed:

SQ-N150 looks very classy. I was considering the D-N150 as I do most of my listening via CD still, but went with the D-03X instead. Only arrived a couple of days ago but sounds great with the P-750u.
