Low Cost IEM, no practical difference?

Umm, I guess if you just get off-the-rack stuff like apple buds or sony buds, then no there is no real differences. They may sound a bit different, but they will handle music the same way. Same goes for some real IEM's that are in the lower price range with only one driver. You can't really go wrong there...

Among IEM's less than $30, is one as bad as another? No need to search/compare? Thanks.

PS: classical, mp3 in car (carpool)

There's a huge difference in IEMs below $30. Many are garbage. Many are okay. A select few stand out as competing with much higher-priced phones. There are several threads on the forum about the best sub-$30 and sub-$25 IEMS.

Incorrect and misleading. There are real differences between budget IEMs. Also, having only one driver does not mean a headphone sounds bad, just as having several does not mean it sounds good.
