Anyone using ALAC or Flac state your total number of files in your music library.
Im sure there are some amazing collections on here.

Im currently at 5,501 files (all apple lossless)
Approximately 161 gigabytes HD space used.

Anyone out there with +10,000?

10602 files, 1101 folders, 229GB. All are in FLAC (and at least 95% are FLAC level 8, although most were compressed with 1.1.0 through 1.1.2, not the newer 1.1.4 which compresses better).

I still have quite a few CDs that I need to rip, but this covers many of my favorites.

My collection is rather small. I have 189 files (cd's) at 53.1 GB with FLAC. And I'm a bit of a heretic. I use Winamp Pro to compress. I had used EAC but ran into too many issues with Vista. I notice NO difference.

I mostly use lossless as much as I can these days. I've been collecting MP3's since '97 and the technology is completely obsolete. Created in 1991 if I'm not mistaken.

22000 tracks and taking up the better half of a terabyte of HD space.

MP3's will always have their place in DAPs, but I still try to use lossless nowadays.

According to slimserver - 1565 albums with 20029 songs by 656 artists. Probably 90% Flac

I am humbled.

652 songs, 19.4 GB. I'd say I only have about half of all my music ripped at the moment, though.

EDIT: All FLAC.
