So, I've been lurking on this forum for a long time. I've been trying to decide what to buy and what is exactly what I want.
I listen to dubstep, techno, pop, rock and video game music. I'm looking for good headphones for this.
I've seen tons of suggestions, but they are either so high-end I cannot afford them or somewhere inbetween or not around the ear. The Sony X300 or whatever's seemed like a good choice, but they are so huge, I just can't see myself banking on those even though I do love me some bass. I do care about design a little bit, colour not so much and sound I care a lot about. I'd prefer something that focuses on bass and highs with decent mids.
I think that's what I am looking for. I like the Able Planet headphones, but I'm not sure what anyone else thinks of that brand, even though I can get them 80% off from my job. I liked the Studio Beats, but I have no intentions on buying them. Can you give me any advice? I'd be willing to spend $140 or so.
