everything just sounds a little better.

i felt the same way when i upgraded from my marantz 1060 to my asl mono block waves.

i didn't feel like the asl's stomped all over the 1060's, but they were slightly better in every way, which to me was a huge difference.

as time has passed, i can go back to the 1060 and it is clear that i prefer the asl's.

i know i'll feel the same way about the 600's

Summing it up, I'm inching closer to invest in the Senn HD600 + Zu Mobius cable. After all these days of R&D, this is the combo that seems most suitable for me in regards of a long-term investment.

Just hope these are the last 'phones I'll ever need**, since we're talking almost $500 (if bought new and because I need a longer cable than 2.8m) on the whole deal... unless a good chance to buy used shows up. I have been looking on the "for sale" forum to see what comes up in the meantime... but hope to get this solved out by tomorrow. Time to consult it with the pillow...
