I was thinking of buying the HD 439's for about £66 on ebay, but I heard there was quite a few better full size headphones for the same price. I listen to a lot of different styles of music, anything from bass heavy to indie/rock so I'd prefer a balance rather than something biased. Also I'm particularly looking for closed headphones with good noise cancellation. Anyone have any suggestions?
EDIT: Also for headphones around this price being used with an onboard soundcard, will an amp/DAC bring out any better sound and is it worth it?
