looking for a set of headphones that can block out external noise well but still remain light on my head. I currently own a pair of senneheiser 280 pros. These are neither portable or decent looking to be frank. They isolate pretty well and sound great but they clamp down on my head too hard. Right now im looking for a set of headphones that isolate just as well but more portable and comfortable. I own a fiio e7 amp and play music through my ipod touch. I listen mainly to classical music and the occasional blues and rock. Does anybody have suggestions for my needs?

Anything with bi-flanges should be pretty good. I don't think there's any big secret to isolation. Etymotic seem to be the best because they use tri-flanges. I don't have exact recommendations.

the hd25-1 work great for me for most types of music. plus, they're nearly indestructible.
