Hi, HF family,
 
I've been reading through this entire subforum and was wondering if I could get some suggestions.
 
- I mainly use an iPod Touch/iPhone, but have a desktop at home as well
- I'm currently using JVC HA-FX101, which is really not high-end at all; will be moving towards better soon
- Would I need a portable amp? I've been looking at the Fiio E11/E12
- Budget: <$150

No you don't. With that money upgrade the iems

Nope. Use the money for better IEM.
You will notice the changes lots more with IEM, rather than splurge it on amp.
Once you have better IEM, than only you start looking for amp.

I just got a Fiio E11 and use it with the JVC HA-FX101.
