Hi there!
After forgotting my mp3 in the gym and not recovering it :)mad:), I need to buy a new IEM. This is my history in IEMs, chronologically:
1. Creative EP-630: my first one, a big jump from the standard earbuds, I can not review them by comparison.
2. Sennheiser CX 400 II. Sooo comfortable, rich sound althought they broke from the connector twice in 3 years (one covered in warranty).
3. Sony MDR-EX310. Not bad, but worse sound than the Sennheiser, specially because of the cable noise. Confort is also worse.
4. Xiaomi Piston 3. Least confortable of all, although sound is surprisingly good.
"5". My father owns a Soundmagic E10 and I found them too bassy and not as confortable as the sennheiser.

I listen to all kind of music, specially rock, dance and classical music.
Which IEM should I buy for less than 50€, here in Spain?

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.
I have been reading about the Havi and has things that I can't handle: his design is overear, needs an amp to sound good and isolation is about average or worse.
About the Ve...is not an inear, although thanks for the link, if I order my inears in a website where this earbuds are in sell, I problably buy them only to take a try.

I think that what I am searching is a model as similar as possible as the sennheiser cx 400 II, but less pricey and more reliable.

Greetings!

Haven't tried a ton but JVC fxh30 and Zero Audio Carbo Tenore are the two I've liked most in this price range. They aren't particularly durable- have you looked at any sports headphones?

If you haven't seen them might be worth checking out Joker's two most recent guides:

This thread seems like a good place to find recent budget options: http://www.head-fi.org/t/684159/chinese-asian-brand-info-thread-headphones-iems-amps-dacs/26115

I am from Spain, so I can't buy the Narmoo and JVC models that have you mentioned because there are from ebay and shipping costs are at least 15€.

The Zero Audio Carbo Tenore seems to be good! Here in Spain I can buy them for 38€.

What do you think about these alternatives?:

- Sennheiser CX 275 S (similar to cx 300?).
- Any Vsonic model?
- Hifiman RE 400. I found an spanish website that is selling this earbuds (android version) for 69€, plus 25% of value points, so the real cost is 52€. I see in headphoneslist that is there are superb inears...

- Shure Se215, it's design is over ear, but I see that it pretty well-know and the one in China that costs about 30€.
- JVC FRD80
(maybe false? http://www.ebay.com/itm/JVC-HA-FRD80-Z-BLACK-GOLD-Micro-HD-In-Ear-Headphones-FRD80-Genuine-Brand-New-/151728164064?hash=item2353b40ce0:g:wcUAAOSwgQ9Vo8UI)

I am almost decided for the Hifiman, but I don't know if deserve the extra cost compared to the Zero Audio or there is any Vsonic similar for less price...

Thanks in advance!

I haven't tried any of those, sorry-  I would say is that the Tenores could be considered somewhat warm/bassy (for me- everyone seems to see this differently)- I haven't heard the Soundmagics you mentioned having too much bass though.

Vsonic make a couple in your price range, I think the most popular (other than well known $90 GR07) is the VSD3S- this year they updated to the "NEW VSD3S" which supposedly has improved the infamous build quality.

Suggest searching the head fi threads of the ones you are looking at, for a model you have had- you may be able to find comparisons- especially with the xiaomi piston and CX since those are fairly popular.

Joker who runs theheadphonelist also has a big thread here, good place to ask for advice and read reviews: http://www.head-fi.org/t/478568/multi-iem-review-352-iems-compared-pump-audio-earphones-added-04-03-16-p-1106

Lachlan's reviews on youtube are pretty good- has done some of the models you're considering: tenore https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEvCoHTVY-Q   vsd 3(older version) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77wdu225HYg hifiman re-400 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8DtFnm2Ks4 jvc fxd80 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akXVJUhRNWA

Well, I have them since 2 weeks or so...and I am not so convinced that I have bought the right headphones.
Positive:
- Very balanced sound.
- Tiny.
- Cable quality is good (Lachlan said that was poor)

Negative:
- Cable noise is too high.
- Right in-ear falls off easily, maybe is my problem.

Hope this helps somedbody =)

Thanks for reporting back. Sorry they've disappointed you.

You seem to have tried lot of IEMs so sorry if this is really obvious but thought i'd mention just in case:

Tip rolling: if you haven't already- sometimes different sizes for each ear- I had a problem with the zero audio tips too the mediums are a little too small, the larges are too big for me. I ended up mostly using tips from a JVC iem with tenore.

For cable noise I'd recommend trying to wear them 'around ear' (looping behind the lobe and hanging downward) or using a shirt clip near the collar.
