These Audio Technica looks very comfortable, if it sound like you need, good choice.

Maybe those similicuir earcups wouldn't have the longest lifetime, but new ones are very cheap. And replaceable cables are usually the most expensive ones. I have some soldering skills so maybe I'll repair the cable by myself.

Just a technical question. I have to use standart soldering iron instead of soldering gun (which destroys magnetic circuits), am I right?
