Looking for lightweight headphones with excellent, sharp imaging.

Why do you think the Logitech's 5.1 has better imaging than those headphones over 1000 bucks? Is there a 'magic' in such gaming
headsets? I've even saw one guy saying that the GSP 600 had better positioning audio than the HD660S....

1. Because you can't override physics, more on this below.

2. I said "Logitech 5.1" because I said "7.1 speakers" above that.

That made clear, what I meant in #1 was this (top view, circle is your head, blue lines are HD800 drivers and Logitech speaker drivers sans subwoofer).

Actually I wanted a speaker setup.. but I don't have enough space near my desk or in my living room.. Could you please recommend me a headphone that is near the price range of the HD800S? I was recommended the Arya or T1, but I'm not sure.
