Hello everyone,
 
I have been looking for a while for some IEMs to listen to my music on my iPhone during long air travel. I have never tried, let alone bought, high end IEMs. In my brief history with good quality audio, I used the Denon D2000 and the Audio Technica AD700 full sized headphones and I loved them. I am looking for an IEM that has a similar signature to either for them for a maximum of $100, lower better of course. Noise isolation would be great so that I don't have to listen to the engines and crying babies during my 13+ hours trips. Having an iPone remote would also be of great use. I would really love to hear what people here suggest for my kind of usage at this price level.

After some looking around, it seems that I will be going with the Etymotic MC3. Does anyone have any better suggestion before I go with these?

I would suggest saving like 20 dollars more and get the HF5s, which are far superior and truer to the Ety sound sig than the MC3s.

Thanks for the suggestion. However, It is more like $40 difference in price. Is it still worth it?

Went ahead and ordered the MC3 for $63. The HF3 is like $50 more and I just want to use it during my long flights. Thanks for the suggestion.
