Looking for highly comfortable and neutral headphones that goes well with my amp and music

Please recommend me a pair of highly comfortable, neutral, fast, effortless, non-fatiguing, high resolution headphones that work well with:
The amp that I use: Musical Fidelity M1 HPAP
The kind of music I listen to:

Your M1 HPAP has a very low headphone output impedance :)
Guess your headphone amplifier can easy work with lots of headphones.
 
I would think the AKG K550s would be a headphone that is non-fatiguing.

I'm not near my K550s this evening, over wise I could test your music with them.

What is your budget? There are quite a few headphones, of varying cost, that may or may not fit your description. If we know how much is too expensive, that could potentially narrow down the list quite a bit.

Tested the HD558s with your music links, sounded good to me.
The HD558s to some (a few) are considered a little boring or veiled, to me it makes it easier (less fatiguing) for listening to audio.
I'm assuming some might be using a lower costing amplifier and like their music to be "in their face", so to them they might think of the HD558s as a little boring or veiled, but as you have a nice amplifier and want something non-fatiguing, the HD558s should work out for you.

They shouldn't be as veiled as the ones I currently use: Bose AE2. Would you say that the HD558s are significantly more transparent than the AE2s?

The HD600 is also within your budget. They're reasonably neutral with a very non-offensive treble presentation. I can't think of a less fatiguing headphone, off the top of my head, than the HD600, which has a neutral presentation at the same time. You may want to consider a pair of these as well.

From my understanding of Bose, it's not hard to best their audio quality, for the given price range.
 
You can also read up on the AKG K612 Pro (150 Euros) and Beyerdynamic DT880 Pro 250-Ohm (238 Euros)

So your understanding is not based on tests/comparing but rather Bose's bad reputation.. Not that I'm satisfied with what I got for the price, but considering that the AE2s and HD558s cost about the same I need to be sure that the HD558a are distinctly more transparent, so I would appreciate if someone who has tried both the AE2s and the HD558s could review the differences.

True, I have never listened to Bose headphones, and I somewhat base my opinion on them by reputation.
But also because that I'm sure Bose sells a lot more headphones then Sennheiser, lots of Head-fiers have used Bose headphones, but Sennheiser is way more recommended by Sennheiser owners and Bose owners are much more rare (very rare) to recommend the Bose brand.
 
But I do hope that Bose users post their opinions (positive or negative) in this thread.
