Looking for good isolation IEMs for commuting

Thank you everyone for your help and tips.

I have decided to get a pair of iM-590s. As soon as I get them, I will let you know what I think. Also, I will be returning those FX-300s to the store.

Btw, would the iM-590 benefit from the boost of a portable amp (such as the Fiio E5)? I want to get a good portable setup that do not take much space.

Unless you just like the idea of having a portable amp, I wouldn't bother. No amp is always more portable than even a tiny amp like the Fiio and the iM-590 isn't very power-hungry at all.

Just a quick update... I have received my iM590 today and my first impression is they sound great! way better than than the FX300s.

I would definitely recommend those for anyone who likes metal/prog rock.

Thanks to Joker for some great advice and to everyone who helped.
