Hi, I’m relatively new to the hobby but have quickly fallen down the rabbit hole. I’m currently stuck on looking for new IEMs to try out. My current ones are Monarch MK2, Dunu SA6 Ultra, and 64 Audio U4S. I’m looking for IEMs that are mainly all rounders but would also like a recommendation for J-Pop and K-Pop listening. As for the range of IEMs I’m mainly looking at endgame level ones since I keep rotating my current sets. I want to hopefully find one that I will love and be able to stop looking at other sets at least for a while. Currently my favorite set is the Monarch MK2 with the U4S close behind. My only issue with the Monarch MK2 is that it’s a bit big and get uncomfortable after a while also after prolonged listening it can get a bit fatiguing. My U4S on the other hand feel a lot less fatiguing in the treble so I like that I can wear those for a really long time.

Since you already have a few iem’s I would look at the new Mest MK3 you can buy it without a cable for $1599.00.

Is the Mest MK3 that much better than the MK2? Since I see the MK2 show up occasionally for resale for around $800. Do you think it would be better to start with the MK2 and then get the MK3 later?
That might be a better upgrade route to start with using mest mkii first since they are a lot less expensive. If you dislike them probably get close to what you paid if re-list them. I think you like the bone conduction aspect of the mest. Here is a review that might help with the decision.
