Hi ...

Im new here but seems to be the best place to find my next earphones .

Looking for something with great sound ( not like the ones here that cost $1000+ ... ) and that can fit the ear well

while I run .

Tnx for your help .. I've absolutely no idea in the earphones market so any opinion can help

just assume that the bluetooth ones are not suitable as those ( jabra , jaybird ) have low sound quality ...

In the ear isolating headphones aren't good for running though, as each step you take will reverberate in your ears(bone conduction?). It may also be dangerous to run when you can't hear your surroundings. I guess most people use open non isolating earphones with ear hooks while running. I have used the low priced JVC HA-EB75 and Panasonic RP-HS33(but not while running). These have good highs, but not that much bass, so I boost the bass 8 db with the player's equalizer, which makes them decent enough for active use. Sennheiser has more expensive open earphones with ear clips(MX 680, MX685). I have not tried those, as the Panasonic and JVC ones I mentioned are good enough for me. The Panasonic one sounds a bit better, however if your ears are small it might not stay on. Some here use the Koss KSC75 while running. The KSC75 is basically a headphone but with no headband and ear hooks instead. The KSC75 stays on quite well. Its ear hooks are metal and can be bent to fit you well. It has strong bass for an open headphone. The KSC75 is a bit lacking in the highs though compared to the HAEB75 and RP-HS33. I haven't used my KSC75 in a while, and haven't tried boosting the treble with the equalizer while using it. Some don't like using it while exercising though, as its foam earpads can soak up plenty of sweat.

Thanks ... I really liked the Jabra Sport and now I saw that there is a wired version ( saw only the bluetooth one before ) so I think to get it as their over-the-ear clips is really seems to be the best out there ....

The Jabra corded earphone with hooks doesn't seem like it is any better than the much less expensive JVC HA-EB75.
Read the reviews on Amazon.

If you need a mic and ipod remote there is the JVC HA-EB80

FYI: Sleek Audio SA1 is now only $40 from Amazon.  Definitely worth checking out.

I recommend the MEElectronic M6. For the price of $19.95 you can't go wrong. The headphones have ear-hooks to keep it stable while running, pretty good isolation but not too overwhelming so you can still hear a bit of your surroundings. It also comes with a shirt clip to keep the cord stable and 6 pairs of extra ear tips for good sizing and comfort.

Also many colors to choose from!
