Hey guys, I wonder if you could help me.
My NE-700M broke for the second time in less than a year and I'm fed up. Plus I've been thinking about upgrading them anyway.
So I'm looking to buy new in-ear monitors to have on-the-go and I want an upgrade sound-wise.
Regarding the budget - I'm willing to pay even twice the price of the NE-700 if that buys me earphones with a sound I love and ones that don't break after just a few months.
Things to preserve:
- Bass response. The NE-700 had really good, deep bass. A little accentuated but it was in good taste and nice quality.
- Stage. They had nice stage width-wise. Not so much depth, it would be nice to improve on that.
Things to improve:
- Durability. I want phones that would last!
- Sound, with emphasis on the mids. The NE-700's sound was a little dry and it lacked sparkle. I'm a bit of a Grado fan so that can give you an idea about the kind of sound I like.
Got anything to recommend?
Appreciate the help!
