Hey guys,
This is my first post after being a creeper for almost a year!

I currently own a koss prodj200, and I'm looking for an open backed full sized headphones for under 150$(on amazon). I did a lot of googling, but couldn't choose one.
I use an iPod Touch and will upgrade to a fiio within the year(Christmas or so).

Thanks for the help :)

Edit: I did do a search of the forum, but didnt find a thread which was recent or matched my exact needs. If there is one, please let me know. And I'd like to apologize in advance if that is the issue.

I will always recommend the Sennheiser HD598. Every genre I've listened to sounds great on them. They will be very close to your limit when it comes to the budget, though. Maybe find them used or on sale somewhere? I'd also recommend an amp, but you said that was planned.

Go ahead and check out this list for the best headphones under $200. They're all decent products there's some reviews at the bottom but I would go through and see which ones are within your budget and which aren't. Once you've narrowed it down to a few, do more research either on head-fi or elsewhere to help you in your final decision. The Sennheiser HD598's as mentioned above would be a good pick as well, if they are within your price range. Hope that helps.
