I bought a Fiio E5 (~$25) in 2011 to use with the 280's and it died on me tonight.  Looking to get into the desktop amp market as it has been frustrating having to charge a portable amp when I want to use it.  Only drawback is I am now down to a notebook (that is desk bound) to use so as I don't have a tower to stick an amp in, it will literally have to sit on my desk and I'm fine with that.  That also means I will have to use onboard sound and the 3.5mm out to run to the amp unless there is some kind of USB option out there.  Not looking to spend more than the 280's are worth so a budget of around $75 is what I'm shooting for.  I use the 280's mainly for surfing Youtube(pop/dubstep/rock) and wold prefer some sort of bass boost.  Thanks in advance!

Look in the amps for sale section, you may find something.

Fiio E10 should do the job (USB/DAC/Amp).
