Hello, I had a thread earlier about just amps under $200, but now I am upping my budget to get an AMP/DAC combo for under $300 that will power the AKG Q701 and the ATH M-50s (I assume an amp with enough power for the Q701 can be quite capable of driving the M-50s).

I have read a lot of posts on this forum and reviews and I have come up with a few all-in-ones and a combo. I am also open to suggestions.

Leckerton UHA-6S.MKII

JDS Labs O2/ODAC combo

iBasso D12

Thanks for the help.

I hate bumping my threads but I can not find many reviews and information on the iBasso. It really looks like the iBasso or the Leckerton but I want a good comparison between the two.

Any help?

Thanks

Are you looking for bring it with you strapped to an iPod portability like the D12 and Leckerton or "has a battery but not really strap to an pmp portable" such as the O2 and ODAC combo?

I have not heard the others but can say that depending on what genres and artists you listen to, the O2 pairs well with the Q701

I would probably prefer the Leckerton or the iBasso but I am perfectly fine with purchasing the O2.
