Looking for a Amp/Dac solution for my new Audeze LCD-X

I just bought my first high end pair of headphones and i'm still unsure what kind of Amp/Dac i should go with.

My budget is around 200-400$.

I hope that's enough seeing as they are somewhat easy to drive.

What about the in house DECKARD Class-A AMP/DAC from Audeze? A bit over my budget but i could be avoiding any potential compatibility issues.

Haven't heard about them before tbh. Not a lot of reviews out there.

Compatibility issues doesn't really exist outside of cable terminations. I'd stick with a tried and tested popular amp. All the suggestions so far are good, the Audeze amp is probably overpriced, in-house amps usually are

Deckard is great, but it is just a re-branded Matrix Audio HPA-2C which is cheaper and a better buy

A Schiit Mody/Magni combi would be a very nice combo for you Audeze I think, and well within budget. If you want a one box solution, look at the Schiit Jotunheim. Of course there are many other options, but I mention Schiit because they normally deliver excellent value for money, and your budget is not very high.

The Jotunheim is SE or balanced out, the Magni SE only.

Do not know how it sounds but looks like good machine for money Pro-Ject Pre Box S2 Digital. LCDX should be fine with it as it is good with all in one systems from my expereinces.
