Meh, I wouldnt recommend or even suggest trying the headphone out from the Z-5500 for any headphones. Its just pretty crappy IMO. Not to mention its annoying when you forget to turn the volume back down and you switch over to the speakers and it blows your ear drums out!

Does that headphone also include a microfonic in its cable?

Sorry to bump a sorta old thread but, my athm50 sound the same coming from stereo port from asus maximus vi hero compared to analog out from that > into z5500 > with athm50 plugged into headphone socket in the control pod of z5500. thought the athm50 do sound a bit artificial in mid high/highs or maybe thats just the quality of 320kbps.

What i wanted to ask though is how much power does the port output (e.q cowon d2+ is 30mw+30mw, 60mw), as my phones are 38 ohm 1000mw, if anyone knows the output power of the z5500 headphone jack please tell me. i want hard factual scientific answers from the spec sheet/z5500 engineers, not a OH z5500 sounds bad! comments, i dont care about that, i want the facts in regards to its power output ;P
