the only way i know how to log into this site now is through my profile. i no longer see the login that used to be at the top. also i no longer know how to access my pm's. could someone please advise me about these two issues? thanks

For the second, I recommend bookmarking http://head-fi.org/messages. We're aware of, and have submitted requests to Wikia about the issues with the new floating navbar otherwise.
