"This is, simply put, the most raw, intense blues-rock ever recorded. The original Fleetwood Mac."

Best I've heard recently was Wilco's Kicking Television: Live In Chicago

How about The Velvet Underground's Live 1969?

The Allman Brothers Band - At Fillmore East
Derek & The Dominos - Live At The Fillmore
The Who - Live At Leeds

Good picks.

The "Live at Leeds" long version is better. Magic Bus is worth the album. The Who played at Leeds early this Summer. "Live at Leeds II" should be released for Christmas. Their recent album, "Live at the Royal Albert Hall" is very good (The DVD is also very well done).

Derek and the Dominos (Duane Allman not there) is some of Clapton's best work. I like this Live Album much better than their studio work.

Of all the Allman Brothers Band live albums, Fillmore East is much better than "Live at Ludlow Garage" and "Wipe the Windows, Check the Oil".

A good mix of live and studio work can be found on the album, "Wheels of Fire" by Cream. Cream, "Live Royal Albert Hall", not bad.

Fleetwood Mac, "The Dance".

Dire Straits, "On the Night"

U2, "Mountains In a Blue Sky" and of course, "Rattle and Hum"

NOW THE SLEEPER, one of my favs, Van Morrison, "A Night in San Francisco".

Keep on Truckn'

Gov't Mule - Live at Roseland and Live with a Little Help from our Friends

I have almost pulled the trigger a couple of times. Which one and/or which one for which listener and/or maybe a third title as a first Gov't Mule purchase.
