For 500 bucks it is a steal. I got the opportunity to audition one for a couple of weeks. Believe me.

Who is Phil Larry anyway? I think you mean Phil Larocco. Larry Finnegan was his ex-partner at Larocco Audio.

Thanks, pete7 and xtreme4099, pointing out the silly mistake I made in the subject.

This is now updated.

Again, me bad.

Seriously, I am in for the Lisa III Expedition. I always like Phil's creation and looks like this is some unusual creation. Housed in an exotic wood case this is going to be a killer amp!

Well actually there are a number of cases available. Some exotic wood ones, but the basic Lisa III will have 3 cases:
Wood (non-exotic), and a black or silver hammond case. Brad is going to have Phil post some pictures of cases soon.

If one choose to have a wood case that I would presume the amp will be used in stationary locations rather than mobile. Don't think it is a good idea to put nice wood finishes to the torture of mobile application.
