Does anyone know if something like this exists? If not, where can I get the connector for a DIY solution. It appears the iPod and Sansa share a very similar connector with some of the same pinouts. A little research was done on anythingbutipod and there is an audio signal present on the Sansa connector. This isn't surprising considering it uses the same System on Chip (PortalPlayer) as the iPod.

this is a question/request that has been beat to death in the e200 discussion on the "Anything But iPod' forum.

the last I checked with Sandisk they told me they had no plans to provide a line out feature and no one to my knowledge has a DIY fix. Maybe the DIY solution has changed. Check and see.
