I couldn't be more satisfied with my Sony MDR-7506, but I'm also looking for a lighter alternative for when I'm on the move, = street + train, none of them extremely noisy here in Switzerland, but still not as silent as indoors.
I love the extremely flat response of the 7506 and I'd like to find this in a pair of on-ears cups which would be significantly lighter.
I used to own a pair of HD-25, which were great but had to punchy basses and weren't very comfortable on the long run.
I'm thinking about the Grado 60/80 for the quality of the sound, but they seem to be not so comfortable either and, most of all, probably too open for outdoor use.
Any other recommendation?
