Light Harmonic Geek Wave

I double checked my tickets with LH Labs as I had a similar issue. The Dual DAC, AQ2M DAC chip and Standalone DAC upgrade are now standard features for all Waves whether you were one of the many who backed those options or one of the few who didn't. These options will not show up on anyone's Wave order now that they are standard features. This was part of their feature consolidation and product streamlining that was necessary to make it practical for them to produce these products.

I also backed the IEM package and the zero jitter stuff which I think is not part of the wave 64 package which is also missing.

At this stage, given their failure to install mu metal shielding etc on infinities I have zero confidence they will actually implement any non visible upgrades.

You will probably receive a much quicker response if you offer to give them more money. Maybe open a ticket about upgrading your Wave (maybe wanting to add the IEM upgrade) then once you get a response redirect the conversation indicating that you find that you have already paid for this upgrade but it is not showing up in your order.

Interestingly, LH Labs no longer has an F rating by the BBB.... But, I guess they can't get too excited, because their rating is now NR... LH Labs appears to have a lot of fences to mend....

Honestly does the BBB rating mean anything to anyone? V-MODA is listed as a C.

Don't think anyone is flaming them for such a low score.

Schiit is a B

So what? It's only in this thread where I've seen people talking about the BBB rating.

I do feel like it matters. If I were a company owner, then I would strive for an A rating. It would be hard for me to believe a good company would prefer a rating of NR over an A.... At some level, it has to affect their business interactions with peers and/or customers... If you can name a company that is satisfied with an F or NR rating, then let me know so I can avoid them.

I don't think any company would be satisfied with a lower rating, but there's only so much you can do. LH Labs' complaints on the BBB website are likely from frustrated Indiegogo backers.

Guess you should avoid Microsoft then. lol

NR

Or any Microsoft Store for that matter

Or Apple Stores

Wow, Harman Kardon is an F. Avoid them too.

Ok, so you've made the point that some companies have poor ratings by BBB. So, it is now up to those companies to try to improve their service and/or products... If they don't, then this will most likely affect their bottom line. But, you still have not identified a company that is satisfied with a low rating, as far as I can tell... and, I think that even you might agree that LH labs has quite a bit of work to do to improve their image and consumer confidence.

Clearly BBB ratings don't mean much, but we're still waiting for this thing. I'm guessing at this point they're working with a skeleton crew and a stretched thin in every direction. I'm ready to project that delivery will be in 2018, but common sense tells me that they are more likely to fold before the end of the year.

I agree with the likelihood of folding. Waves will not deliver. They have no staff and no money and no parts in house and no way to go commercial even IF they ever delivered (and they are too far behind the market, have no marketing, no loyal customers, no anything). To top it off, it's legal to not deliver. How's that for proper pessimism. Or reality?

Anybody see this post at the IGG page:

"Ok sportsfans, here’s the latest dope on my unscheduled visit today to LHLabs in Roseville. I found out, much to my dismay, that our Customer Happiness manager Manny has left the building. Gina, who reported to him is also not on-site and apparently a sub-contractor working from home. Apparently Manny bailed 3-4 weeks ago, according to Sandu, the only live person there ,who is – get this – in charge of production. Yeah, my head was spinning with that info."

Seems that LHL is in a lot of trouble. Pity the Indiegogo will do nothing about it. Pretty sad if this is all the case. What a huge fall from and appearance in The Absolute Sound a few years back. They obviously got drunk on crowd funding. Sad.

That comment no longer seems to be showing up on the IGG page. I can see commonts responding to Darren on the thread but not the original quote in question.
