Cool to hear that ! Thanks for the tips.

Last night I was listening to John William's Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban with my 300ohm Sennheiser HD600, V40 can drive it with ease, the soundstage is so damn good, music instruments are well presented with clarity, good separation.

Wonder, is this a Class D heaphone amplifier?
Nah, the Qualcom Snapdragon is a complex chip circuit emulating, most certainly, a Class AB, on its way to the HP jack. Rest assured it sounds better than any Class D we can afford. I have some hungry cans to feed, but music SQ always sounds best straight outta the V40 jack (it's really lacking in power for today's planars).

Very true for planars - they seem to rely on and thirst more current than voltage which probably explains this. Tell you what though with regards to dynamic drivers, it drives my Elex pretty well and though not to their best, my 250Ω DT880s.

Hi people.

I want to use V40 only as dap player. What do you recommend me to do for best battery life. Use custom rom or just stay on stock and debloat it with adb?
Is it possible to stay on stock, maybe just root it and get to manually select high impedance mode?

Also I found out that battery from Samsung A7 2017 3600mAh can be installed on V40, you just have to change connector, I found a video on YT. You can found good battery brend Deji with that 3600mAh battery. I'm planning to do that also.
Some people sad that battery from V50 4000mAh also can be installed but I didn't found anything about that
