LG V30

While it plays some MQA files smoothly, others do not. I couldn't figure out the reason for this. There is no problem with these files. Because I tried it on V30 and it plays without any problems.

It plays the file here without any problems.IMG_1414.png

But it doesn't play the file here. Both are MQA.

I thought there might be a problem with the file and sent it to my LG V30 phone. But the V30 played the file without any problems.

I installed UAPP on V35 and it played the unplayable MQA file. But these are all MQA files. Why do some have problems?

"Sony Xperia 5 mk. II is a much better sounding phone than lg v30"

My V30 cost me $200.00 Canadian
That's about $150.00 US
I think I'm fine.
I've got the V30, V50, and a Hidizs s9 pro plus and a Truthear Shio. I bought the V30 brand new in 2018, the V50 used in 20 both used as phones so the audio came for free (though was a primary consideration). I've just had to upgrade to a S23 Ultra hence the dongles. They are both very well reviewed and measured, but I do prefer the sound of the V50 and it has more headroom. However, just as a DAP, the Shio is all of £50 whereas a used V30 will cost more, let alone a V50.
I'm tempted to sell the V50 as it's in immaculate condition, but maybe just turn off all auto updates, fit a 1Tb sd card and put every music track in it.

Will upgrading from V35 to V60 make a significant difference in sound quality? Obviously it will cost a serious price. Will there be a quality difference worth this price difference? Should I continue with the V35? Since I will also lose MQA support after this upgrade, the difference should be really worth it.

Hello,

I found some information about V35. In the standard version, the sound tuning was made by LG. The Signature Edition version was tuned by B&O.
https://namu.wiki/w/LG V35 ThinQ

I found two files with different names related to the Android version of V35. Only one has an extra letter "S". Could this be the Signature Edition version?

If there is such a thing, can the B&O tuning be installed on the standard model if we install the Signature Edition software?

Also, the region name is different. It is mentioned as KOR in one and 2KR in the other.
