I've really been wanting to hear it because I love Amorphis.

Shame to hear it might be a flop.

Well, I've just listened to some other samples and it actually sounds good. Could've been a really crap youtube vid before. I'm reserving final judgement until I get my copy.

I'm digging this.

You know Soup, I think I might post my loot on MFi. Be nice if folks from around the world would let us know what they got.

I didn't shoot one of my Metal stuff specifically but here's my haul (minus 3 not pictured 7"ers)

Not seen: Katatonia - Buildings 7" (Which I'd like to trade to Soup for his copy of Blind Melon that he picked up for another Head-fier who found one), Atlas Moth & Wulvhammer 7", and the Mystery 7" which was an Iko Iko Side by Side.

Oooh, Liquid Tension Experiment. I didn't know they released any LPs.

It's RSD. So they hadn't until now. :) (Well, not '2' anyway. They did a limited run of 1 a few years ago)

Acid Rain opens up this album and it's just soooooo good.

Really looking forward to spinning this one.

Overall I liked the first one a lot better, but it's hard to beat When the Water Breaks! I'll have to get a copy for myself.

I like the use of melody with the atmospheric mix here... creates an interesting blend of sound. Give it a try if you like melodic BM.

So, how's the Parallax box look from the inside?

edit: I'm now listening to Ash Borer's Cold of Ages on vinyl the first time and I must say this is a night and day difference to the CD master. You must hear the cymbals. Bass is quite non-existent, don't know what's that about. Anyways, this is the angry bunch of punk teens I saw at the stage :D

I wish I would have had the money to buy one of the super-duper special editions with the BTBAM/NASA overalls....shame.

The more I listen to this album the more it grows on me. I can't stop. It's just so damn good.

The moment when Devin comes in is just glorious and beautiful.

EDIT: And in case you guys didn't know this existed...It's a commentary with Devin for the whole album. I wish more bands would do something like this. It's so ridiculously cool.

His listening party for Deconstruction is even more awesome! Sooooo many thoughts put into this chaotic mess :)
