even though it has perfect reviews i prefere digital resistance which is only given 70% average ... leads me to ponder why do i read so many reviews??

Reviews are more for discovering new music than checking to see whether your opinion of music you've heard is valid.

If I am checking a new band on the archives I will always go for the highest rated one first even though 99% of the time it will turn out I will not agree, I probably do the same with iem purchases

My method of discovering new music is far more chaotic - I make large lists of music and random listen to songs in those then explore when I like something. Seems faster ans safer than listening to somehting recommended. Without thius method, I might have never discovered Dance Gavin Dance, Utsu-P, Painted in Exile and a few other bands that aren't really talked about out there

I like how they've more or less gone from nu metal with their debut album to melodeath with their second.
