So for the groupies who heard the new Iron Maiden, what score review will AMG give the album?
I'm going to go with a solid 4.0, still it could be a little lower to even a 3.0 as the site does not like when bands sound like they always do. They score more for a fresh sound. ???????

Hard for me to rate it as again, I am not a fan of Maiden all that much, though I have given it all a great try over the years.
Yeah, I can't stop listening to the Scythian. Moments like 1:36 on the first track where they transition from atmospheric melody to savage death-thrash riffs... man oh man. I'm listening to it right now because I saw your mention of it.
If such moments are to your liking, you should definitely check - that is, if you haven't done so yet - Craven Idol's Towards Eschaton as well as Crom Dubh's Heimweh. I have no idea how Vrath conjures all these killer riffs, melodies and atmosphere - and has enough of those for three different bands.

I have to say, this Book Of Souls may just be my favorite Maiden album. It's just such an easy listen. It washes over you effortlessly..... and mesmerizingly?
