Lets Talk Metal

Ah yeah. I wasn't really counting that because it was released a ways after the band broke up and wasn't made up of material from the studio for it, y'know? It's a collector's item, more like a label production than the band's output.

I'll tell ya. Slam is fun as hell. Abominable Putridity, Defeated Sanity, Guttural Secrete, and Pathology have been favorites of mine.

When I found Disembowelment's first album, I was sitting in a used CD store and it was in the $1 section. The cover was not metal but the name was. Those days were cool because even with the internet in 2000, you still had to find metal music by searching it out. Finding something was a big thing. There was underground magazines too that do what the internet does today. Extreme metal CDs were often cheap if they were obscure. There was no online data base for record stores.

I bet Redcar has a pet PUMA or PANTHER with a Brootal name!!! Don't you? :

Only 2 sweet little girl dogs. Nana and Coco. Nana thinks she is a big dog and will try and fight any dog, I have to protect her from getting chewed up. I love her attitude though.

I did have some unwanted pets in the back yard this year, a 10 foot python living in the pool pump house. Also a 5 foot monitor lizard living in my back yard and eating the neighbors chickens. Lol. When I saw him for the first time I yelled out, woaw.

See, I told you.. No one as Brootal as Redcar on this thread

Still working my way through Shining's discography. I listened to Refining Darkness today (and loved the whole thing), but this track in particular:

Halmstad is, far and away, Shining's best. It's just a superlative album. Only advice: don't listen to it while drunk and depressed.
