For how raw this is, I wasn't expecting the groove. Great album and a debut to boot. Thanks for sharing.

Have you by chance listened to Koldsovstvo's debut album?
A bit more atmosphere than Akolyth but similarly special IMO.

Latest Mr. Bungle is a record I've listened back to back at least 4 times over last couple of days. The band revisits their 35 year old demo LP and replays the everliving crap out of it, inviting Dave Lombardo and Ian Scott for the ride. Insanity.
Mare Cognitum Solar Paroxysm dropped today:
Interested. Can't find it on streaming services yet though.
Yeah, as far as I can tell it's just on Bandcamp so far.Interested. Can't find it on streaming services yet though.

I've noticed many smaller bands put their albums on a one week delay to help urge supporters to buy a copy from BC.Yeah, as far as I can tell it's just on Bandcamp so far.
This album is a colossus.
Had a chance to listen through this album on the LCD-2F last night. Colossal is a fair assessment. Hell of a sophomore full length release. Some of the interludes are a little lost on me but otherwise a massive album. This and Iotunn Access of All Worlds are at the top of my repeat listen list for early 2021 progressive releases.
