Thanks, I didn't know that John Haughm was already in another band.

He has always had a lot going on, I believe this band actually formed while Agalloch was still going, just wasn't doing much or was very public about it. He actually runs a small label on the side as well. All of the members of Agalloch except Don Anderson were always in a lot of side projects that didn't do much (the bassist had a really weird other band he was in). Don is a professor at University of Washington in the English department which is why they only ever toured for a couple weeks at a time and usually during spring break. Sometimes I wonder if that played a part in them breaking up since there was only so far the band could go and with how weird their writing process was it was very labor intensive for them to write music.

I'm really digging the indish elements, but I'm not a big fan of the vocals and it does sound a bit generic here and there.

Hmm, but at the same time I feel they have matured from their earlier releases and side project Demonstealer and I am happy because they are from India and they got 4 out 5 on Angrymetalguy and because us Indians have always been obsessed with test scores

Wow blast from the past! I actually traveled to Kolkata from Dhaka to see them live, that was over a decade ago. Always have a special place for them in my heart. The embedded track sounds decent, kudos to them to keep trying something original. A "concept album" nonetheless!

What about bandcamp?

Here are the Immolation albums I see on Bandcamp, in chronological order.

https://immolation.bandcamp.com/album/here-in-after
https://immolation.bandcamp.com/album/failures-for-gods
https://immolation.bandcamp.com/album/close-to-a-world-below
https://listenable-records.bandcamp.com/album/unholy-cult
https://listenable-records.bandcamp.com/album/harnessing-ruin
https://listenable-records.bandcamp.com/album/shadows-in-the-light-hope-and-horror-ep

The reason for their last three albums not being on Bandcamp is most likely due to their label switch to Nuclear Blast. Their debut album (also not on Bandcamp) had a different label as well.
